Aside from top designer boutiques, the UES is also home to premier art galleries.  The gallery spaces in the UES differ from the huge white cube galleries of Chelsea. The UES galleries are more intimate and some reside in elegant townhouses.  This tour will include several gallery visits, showcasing the best exhibitions of the season. We will meet at the super chic Nespresso Boutique located at 935 Madison Ave. The design-centric store is illuminated with the neighboring Met Breuer’s signature bold light fixtures and showcases an interactive, recycled aluminum artwork by contemporary artist Daniel Rozin that reacts to the presence of the viewer. In addition, there is a botanical wall made out of real plants that further enhances the vibe of sustainability and environmental consciousness.
